Health & Safety Policy

Purpose
This policy outlines how Titan Security & Training Ltd ensures a safe learning and working environment for learners, staff and visitors. It complies with UK Health & Safety legislation and awarding-body centre requirements.

Responsibilities
Director: Overall responsibility for health & safety management.
Centre Manager: Day-to-day implementation and monitoring.
All Staff: Follow procedures, report hazards, act safely at all times.
Learners: Follow instructions and report concerns immediately.

Health & Safety Measures
- Regular venue risk assessments.
- Safe, clean learning environment.
- First aid kit available at all times.
- Fire extinguishers and clear fire exits.
- Accident/incident reporting process in place.
- Trainers brief learners on emergency procedures at the start of each course.

Accident Reporting
All accidents, near-misses and incidents are recorded and reviewed to prevent re-occurrence. Serious incidents are escalated to the Director.

Emergency Procedures
- In emergencies, follow staff instructions and evacuate calmly.
- Emergency services will be contacted when required.
- For urgent safety risks, call 999.
